How hard to program Navigation without voice rec?

The CLS55 i bought doesn't have voice rec - not sure if I want to spend $2000 to install it.

Is it hard to program the navigation without it?

How is it done?

It can be done very easily and your dealer should be able to add voice recognition to the DVD-NAV. If you want to add the telephone, then that can get pricey.

Actually the dealer told me the opposite - that the reason the bluetooth option is so expensive is because they had to do the voice recognition install

Hmmmmm

I can live without Bluetooth - but I've never had a car with navigation before.

I want to get a feel for how important voice recognition is for the navigation - don't really care if it adjusts the stereo, climate etc.
