Door Protectors
I took my car in for the first service, and MB returned the car with a large ding in the drivers' frnt qutr panel on the ridge... I was devastated. MB took care of it, but it'll never be the same...
Anyone ever seen foam protectors that magnetically attach to the doors, to prevent 'dings' from adjacent cars in parking lots. I saw a 911 a few years ago that had these 'foam bumpers' which matched the color of his body, and served a very good purpose. They wer 4 inches by 3 inches and spanned 2-3 feet ( I think).
Let me know of any other suggestions.
Thanks,
I-Doc

MBWorld Fanatic!
Did they have to paint it?
My car came from the factory with a small ding in the front fender. Paintless dent repair did the trick. Looks perfect.

Yes, the dent was substantial...needed painting, the clear bra will be placed in 2-3 weeks. They also waxed the car for my inconveniences.
