Question about spacers.

Having difficulty finding 18 inch wheels that will clear the CLS55 calipers.

1. Would spacers help?
2. Do I have to get new longer bolts?
3. Do spacers cause any problems (harder to balance?)

I assume your looking for 18" for winter wheels? I thought they make 19" in winter tires? Spacers will only push out the wheel if the inner part of the wheel is rubbing that won't solve your problem. If you use 20MM spcers or bigger you will most likely need longer bolts. Spacers are fine to use, and will not cause any problem balancing the wheel. When the tire shop balances the wheel, the spacer is not attached. I run spacers with my Brabus wheels without any issues.

Still if it is possible, I would try and find some rims with the correct offset instead.
