Comand Hacks
Okay so I have done the 5-3-7 hack already to get the AMG logo but there is now a guy on ebay who says he can give codes to unlock DVD play and stuff like that. Has anyone tried that? Do you know what the key sequence is? Mind sharing?

Yeah I didn't think so, I thought maybe I can put the DVD in the back and watch ... I don't know. Any other hacks other than the 5-3-7 hack?

1) Hold down 5, keep holding thru next steps
2) Hold down 3 next while you still have your finger on 5
3) Next hold down 7
Make sure there is about a 1 second gap between the.
OH and have the ignition in position 2 (before full start).
Then you get a menu, you are currently set at W211 (instead of W219). Just switch it to the AMG one. Hit enter. And turn off the car. Wait a couple of minutes and restatr. You should see AMG logo first.

yeah, that's a little hokey. You just have to set it (press okay) and then turn off the car. Wait like 1 minute and then turn the car back on. You should see an AMG symbol for about 1/2 second

Ok, I got it to work. I was not waiting long enough with the car off. Now my next question. How do you get the AMG symbol to stay a little longer. I notice the Mercedes Benz logo stays longer than the AMG? MMMMMMMM
Any other cool tricks to do with the button pushing??

Ok since we are on the topic of the command centre console. I have seen a cls500 at star up of the command console, flash the Mercedes logo then go to a screen warring you that command can be dangerous and that it can divert your attention from traffic etc.
Any way to get rid of this message? (Attention Screen)
Also in the past when cars were imported from Europe mercs, bmws certain programming needed to take place, example car computer was in German and all commands where in a foreign language... is this still the case? I know we can choose different language settings now, but I am not sure if this is due to the car been programmed upon arrival. Any one know
