Dyno Mode
I saw several people mentioning what "mode" were you in. Just wondering if anyone can tell me how to find dyno mode or any other mode. Have an 07 cls 63 that i took possession of two weeks ago and have had no luck locating different modes.

1) Turn key to the position right before it cranks the car (position 2 I think).
2) Scroll computer menu until it's on the screen that shows the speed.
3) Press the button near the speedometer that resets the trip ticker 3 times rapidly.
4) Now scroll through the submenu of the "speed" menu until you see the dynometer subscreen. Chose dynomenter mode.
***Just remember that you will remain in dyno mode until you reverse the process and turn it back on!!!***

You reverse this process by doing the same exact thing but when you get to the dynometer "ON" (Stating that you are in dyno mode) just put that to "OFF" and you should be back on the safe side...

Without making me try it can someone tell me how the car drives in Dyno mode?
What exactly does it do differently that makes it dyno mode?

I'm guessing when you have it turned off the car would think the front wheels are locked up and back off the throttle. With dyno mode turned on all traction control would be disabled.
At least that's how it works on my vette.

Wow so is this the way to effectively turn off ESP? Cause that would be awesome!
What other driver aides are there other thank ESP?

Umm, So can you drive around with this mode on? I mean, sure you'll wreak if you get stupid on the throttle, but so would driving anything other non-assist cars. However it would be fun to tool around every now and then.

okay so I couldn't wait. I went on a quick test drive in dyno mode.
ABS light was on as was ESP warning light. The cluster named a bunch of other things, I wasn't paying attention.
Anyway, lots of wheel spin and tons of new fun around corners. Felt a lot like the 030 I test drove a few weeks ago when the tail would just go way out on me. WOT from stop (in sports mode) will get your arrested pretty quick, nice little puffy cloud of white behind me as I disappeared. Will definitely be lots of fun in a very very very open area where I don't mind spinning out.
Very fun thing to know how to do on this car.
Are there any other tricks like that one?
