Nightmare of a Time with my CLS63 :(
Has anyone heard of this, now this is a 2nd time. The car has been in the shop more days, than I have had it out.
I bought the Car in NJ, but Live in FL and had it serviced @ MB of Pompano. Of Course, no Mercedes courtesy car, either. I didn't buy it there, because they simply could not get the car until Mid-Year.
Any Suggestions?
You bought the car because you liked it and wanted the joy of driving and owning it, make sure you pull all the stops to get the car fixed. Talk to the Service manager, dealership general manager at Pompano, call NJ and talk to the general manager there to have him call his counterpart at Pompano on your behalf, etc... Pompano is making money from MBZ in doing service for you, so make sure you get all you deserve from them. Accept nothing less. Threaten to talk about them in lesser light if they don't put 1000% focus on fixing your car in all the internet means you have available, etc... Heck, do a preemptive nuke strike by tell them you need a new engine, and work down from there.
If you know a lawyer, have him/her do a friendly call to the GM of Pompano just "appealing your case" If you don't know a lawyer, contact your employer's employee concern service.
Good luck.

I bought a Toyota Tacoma for my dad for his birthday on year and it had a oil leak from day one I took it into the dealership 7 times to try to get it repaired finally they bought my car back from me and gave me my money back 100% just make sure you keep and document all your paper work.
I went about the usual tirate, I can't believe that Mercedes would allow this to happen. I spoke to a service tech and he assured me that I would be getting a call from the dealer shortly and that he would personally supervise all work done to my car.
it worked, they took care of it placed me with a great SA and I have never had problems getting things resolved.
Good luck

Good luck....
Remember that ANY production car no matter what price is going to have examples like this, be it MB/BMW or ferrari/lambo. When i read all that 'could' go wrong with the 211 E55's it almost put me off altogether! Hope for the best.
This is actually a more common experience than people would otherwise think. The engines are high performance and are sensitive to the fuel that goes in them. Go to a station that does not properly take care of its tanks, and boom, it can happen.
The 63 engine is not the only engine it happens to, Porsche owners have experienced it as well.
Do a search for my other postings and you will see the issue in more detail.
I now have 5,000 miles on the car and never another problem.

try to lemon it and get a p car
