Dumb question?

I just got a CLS55 AMG with the 030 performance package. How can I tell if it has the Multi-Handset Interface so I can add bluetooth?

It does have the "TEL" button on the dash but when I push the button it says "Phone not installed".

the head unit will have phone regardless, what you need to look for is the lever on the right of the steering wheel. This will let you know if you have the factory kit is installed.

The blue tooth cradle will only work if you had this feature, MHI means that the blue tooth dongle will work with any phone that has the blue tooth feature as far as it working with the radio you need the factory kit.

Hope this helps.

That is not true. You don't need the lever, that's for hands free.
You need the little plastic triangluar cover with the rounded edge in the handrest. If you don't have that you can't get the phone puck. But you most likely have it.
