need some help with connecting my ipod

Sorry guys if this has been asked before but i searched for "ipod connection" and did not find anything relevant...

basically i have a 3rd gen ipod + ipod nano, and want to be able to connect them to the auxillary input in my CLS55... From what i understand its in the globebox but i was wondering if i need a particular cable to be able to use it ...

From my reasearch the input of the car is a standard 3.5mm one so i just need one of these cables:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-5mm-to-3-5-m...QQcmdZViewItem

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HQ-3-5mm-JACK-...QQcmdZViewItem

or do i need something else ???

im a slight noob with cables!!!

thanks a lot

Thanks Zod, yes all you need is a headphone jack with two ends. One end plugs into Ipod the other into the AUX jack in the glove box. Now if you want to control the ipod with the steering wheel you need the Mercedes Ipod kit along with this jack, and the dealer must install this.

+1. I have this in my S55. I bought the one Monster makes. Simple plug and play. Its no Ipod integration kit, but it works just fine. Sounds good too
