This engine gets faster and faster the harder you drive. After spending a day on the 3.5 mile track at Spring Mountain it is amazing how much faster the car is driving. The traffic in most towns seems to dummy up the transmission and the adaptive nature of the drivetrain requires a "shake up" I think you can only accomplish this on a long road trip , or a track. Taking the car over 100 mph and pushing it around the twisties turns it back into a race car. I guess the best part of owning this is you can have your sports car cake racing p cars and vettes and also cruise sunset eating up the class and comfort. So for those of you spending lotsa time in traffic, do your baby a favor and get her to a TRACK.

PS . The car is starting in 1st gear now in sport mode, if you drive slow though that will change to 2nd..please do not let this happen

Yeah, I don't know if I told you but I got that tranny update as well.
The car does start in 1st everytime in S-mode.
You can accomplish what you're saying with the ECU reset trick just as easily I would think.

I've heard that after the ECU reset some cars start acting weird and don't downshift as well. I personally changed the tranny computer for a kleemann one. And now,,I start in 1st gear everytime. How cool is that???
