Command & Ipod questions

whats up guys....New CLS owner here....

had a few of questions....
1) can the ipod be controlled from the steering wheel or Stereo, such that the next song could be played without pushing next on your ipod, but rather via the steering wheel or the command?

2) Say this site on ebay for a program that would make Command DVD Nav into a regular DVD, the link is

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNLOC...87043785QQrdZ1

So interested in knowing what you guys think........

Thanks,
Moe

1. Yes you can control the ipod with the steering wheel. You need to purchase the ipod kit, and have a dealer install it. Kit can be found on ebay for less then dealer. And average cost for install is around $450.

The unlock code on ebay only works with a Euro Comand unit, do a search on the board for more info on those.

Ipod/DVD

What is being offered on ebay is simply a way to access the engineering menu on the Euro command units. US head units will not work.

Ipod- I used nav-tv.com instead of the OEM ipod kit. This keeps the signal digital by replacing the 6 disk changer and also gives you track info in the head unit and steering wheel controls. Also, no issues with volume levels on this ipod kit.
