Hood emblem
Is there anyway to replace the flat MB emblem to the gun sights old school emblem? I saw a new S550 and it had the gun sights emblem and I personally think it looks good. Does anyone know if you can switch it out and if so how and where can I get one?

Performance auto parts, ebay...IM me I'll send you mine for $20 bucks shipped. Let me just tell you it's an invitation to have it stolen...who cares about the star, I'm worried about the hood.

Staple, I think the theft of the stars is really
dependent upon where you live. In my neck of the woods it hasn't been a problem. You're right about the hood damage factor, though! I'd go ballistic!

That's partially true - scumbags travel though, i.e. malls, your workplace, when you make a trip. It's a target of opportunity and I'd like to not give them that. Best analogy is like leaving a U.Grant on the dashboard that could be accessed through the pax window.

I do like it and I think it will give it that refined Benz look.

Well on the forum, I think you'd find very few people that would not prefer the flat emblem. But to each his own, you can try it and see how it looks. It would not be for me, I love the flat.
