Question for you guys...

I was getting my oil changed at Atlanta Classic Cars on Friday. While I waited I walked over to new car sales and there was a CLS 63 Designo in Mystic White/Tan right in front of the door. (One of the sales guys came over and offered a handkerchief for all the drool). The car was listed base at just under 100K but with the options it was up to 110K.

Question: I am used to the E class but am in love with the styling of the CLS and have been interested in buying a pre-owned 55 version. In my line of work, I pick up customers frequently and have 4 people in the car. Already with the E, I get complaints about the back seat being too small and it being hard to get in. (I've tried it myself and I agree that it's tight getting in/out, but once settled in, it's quite comfortable in the back.) Sooooo, my question; it seems like the actual interior room of the CLS is comparable or probably exactly the same as the E. But the roof slope downward at the rear of the rear doors seemed like it would be difficult getting in and out. Do you find yourself telling your passengers as they get in "watch your head."?

Thanks.

It is smaller. I use my car some on business. Youre taller friends will hate the CLS in the back seat. The car is fine with folks 6ft or so.

Way less room in the CLS than in the E. I own both.

I still haven't rode in the back but a few of my friends have complained that it was difficult getting out.

This is a 4 door coupe..Sportier tahn an E , less room. But the center console is better in the CLS tahn the E. 12v charger for the puter, own controls for cooling heat, nice arm rest. It is COMFY but certainly not like an S class , just slam your passengers head back racing around and the thrill of speed will outweigh the need for the extra head room
