Spotted a K8
On the way home from the office this afternoon I got lucky enough to get stuck at a red light with a CLS 55 K8 right behind me. I'm assuming he saw me looking at the dual foglights on the drivers side of his bumper because he rev'd it and all I can say is WOW. As soon as the light turned green I jumped in the other lane so he could pass, that's when I saw Brabus on the drivers side of the trunk and K8 on the passenger side. All the emblems were replaced with Brabus emblems, it had Brabus exhaust, Monoblock S wheels, Brabus body kit, lowered, etc... It looked like the real thing. I have a couple pics on my cellphone, I just need to find my cable to upload them. It also had a CEC plate on the rear, no license plate... The only modded CLS' in town that I know of are both Renntech. Anybody know of a K8 recently sold on ebay??

why do you think it's a K8 so early in the year? If it is a K8 i dont think it will be called a 55 since that was the k6 model.. Just wondering.. it could have been any model and year under the hood with so much aftermarket stuff on it..

Well for one it had a "V8 KOMPRESSOR" badge on the front quarter panel. This website should answer your second question...

so is it named K8 through brabus? I was thinking you meant 2008 cls.. that's cool maybe it was a K8.. where are the photos?

It was badged as a K8 and it sounded every bit a K8... As soon as I can locate this mini usb cable I'll upload the pics (low quality).

Those are my wheels, Brabus Monoblock VI 20's, you can do a 9 up front with a 9 1/2 or 10 1/2 in the rear.

Good eyes!! That it did. This one looked to be the FULL K8. This CLS looked like it belonged to Darth Vader...blacked out tails, grill, etc...
