so i went to the drag...
Our only drag in bulgaria is actually an old landing spot for private jets so it
isnt really suited but as they say be happy with what you got...
this is 700meters above sea-level
the whole place is made from concrete blocks
(which slow you down at high speeds)
the runway actually has a small positive gradient
(around +5degrees, which further hampers times)
overall the state of the drag/runway is pretty bad, and im sure a
better drag would produce better times , i will have to go to greece
in the summer to find out
I run with another person in the car (i know ) with 1/4tank gas
and standard pressure on the tyres (2.5bar front 2.5 bar back)
1/4mile time was : 13.45s and trap speed was 106.8mph (170km)
i didnt do any more runs as there were races on the drag afterwards, see second pic attached
some other times for your reference:
ML63 AMG stock : 13.90s
Techart Magnum (Cayenne Turbo 530bhp): 13.55s
Lambo Gallardo e-gear (2004 which was 490bhp i think) 13.50s
Cayenne Turbo (new 500bhp): 13.31s
F430 with sequential gearbox 13.20s
CLS 55 AMG ART stage 2 (620bhp/900nm): 12.74s
Dodge Viper (2006 stock) 12.68
Overall im quite happy. I will try to run again with my back tyres at 2.0bar
and hopefully that will allow me to reduce my time somewhat.
any comments? suggestions? thanks

no Cayenne Turbo... i think there was something wrong with the time , but he only ran once so i cant dispute it! according to the owner it is stock (500bhp) but it beat a 530bhp Cayenne Magnum so im not quite sure
here is a pic of the turbo
havent experimented by much but so far:
esp off, airmatic in sports 1, gearbox in S mode, flick the switch to first gear... once i get the green light i push the accelerator halfway for about 1 second and then fully depress it
