I believe its because you have been driving it slow the whole day or morning due to traffic etc (slow moving). When you do this, our ECUs adapt and go into a program for shifting, SC, fuel consumption etc to suit the pace you are driving at I think.

Solution:

1.Hammer it a few times and get a few fast runs. You will notice the next time you go to push the accelerator it will move faster as the ECU adapts to fast driving.

2. Reset the ECU

3. Make sure you have sport mode engaged ;p

4. If the above fail, try inspecting the SC belt, as it can wear down after long periods and can cut response time I think

Please correct me if I am wrong and hope it helps
