Unique Wheels - I think

Couldn't make up my mind on wheel selection and was worried going to 20's because of the roads in MA, therefore took matters into my own hands... had mine painted....

Sweet! I am debating to paint my E63 wheels black rather then the factory gray.

fabulous!! Ironically, beats the daylights off of many expensive aftermkt wheels....and all for the cost of having them painted black where you did. Commendations are in order>>>

The more I see the wheels I really want to paint mine black to give it more contrast then the factory gray.

How much does it cost to get them painted? Can any body shop do it or should they be powder coated?

Kev, it'll be cool to catch up, never been in an E series yet alone an E55.

For the question about the front dam... i had a body shop paint the 3 air dams in the munper to match the grey MB grille. It's paint and its, grey, but you really can't tell, not even up close. Came out really well.

Wheel question: You shouldn't pain them, you should get them powder coated. The other thing you need to keep in mind is that in order to get my look, you need a shop that has a CNC machine. They well powder ocated black completely 1st, then machined the ares I wanted silver, then sanded for a satin look, then pwder coated clear and baked again.

I thought the silver looked different from the painted silver on the stock wheels. How much should I expect to pay for the powder coating process you mention? Anyone know of a good shop to get this done in Seattle?
