Taxes for CLS

Pre-owned CLS 55/63 AMG are approximatly 90k$ without taxes. Can anyone tell me what their price after all taxes in the USA is? Does MSRP mean that all taxes are included?

MSRP does not include sales tax, but does include gas guzzler and destination charges. Depending on where you live, sales taxes will vary. For example, in Los Angeles it is 8.25%, but in Temecula it is 7.75%. In a lease, the sales tax is added monthly on the lease payment, where as in a purchase, it is due at time of sale.

no, msrp means "manufacturer suggested retail price". thats the price mb list the car for. tax is added after you and dealer agree on a price.

say...

80k is the final price, times 8.25% sales tax = 86,600. of course, tax rates may be lower or higher, depending on where you live.

Then you better explore the differences in std equipment, the differences between country regulations, the taxes you'll have to pay, the fees to import and convert, etc.

90k€ all taxes included is about $123.6k USD. Assuming tax of 8.25%, that would put the MSRP at $114.2k. My guess is that you can get a pre-owned in the mid $70s with tax, so about 55k€. Who knows what shipping is...

Not considering shipping, buying one when I will live in the States! Next year I will be in South Africa, I don't know if they have AMG dealers over there...
