Xenon question

Sorry guys tried to do the search but can't find anything. Bought 06 cls 55 and the sucker has every option but lighting. Very upset because every car i had in the past had xenons. Did any of you replace the stock halogens into the stock xenons. Just wondering if it's possible to do it. Please let me know.

if you just wanna do an HID upgrade...its really easy. u can go with the OEM kit or aftermarket like Mtec(had very good experiences with them) its a very simple job. hook up the bulb/bellast/power then done!

I did that with my CLS500 and G500 =)

my suggestion would be to forego any thoughts of a kit, and to investigate the viability of an OEM HID unit first. If this doesn't pan out, then look for an HID retrofit...using an factory designed projector. As nice as your car is, don't settle for a poor, unfocused beam....commonly a byproduct of kits. Accept nothing less than a clearly defined cutoff and a broad, even beam of light.

I agree with that do not want to go with aftermarket set oem only. If i find the oem set how hard is to install them and is it possible at all.

I have a CLS500 and I wanted to get the Carlabs or perhaps another brand of aftermarket HID kit. So now from reading the previous posts I guess its not going to be a good idea. Its cheaper, much cheaper but its not going to have clear cutoff?
