Under easy driving once you learn with the Sprint Booster on the 55 you can drive it so you will not snap your neck back everytime at the light it is for sure worth the $300!!!

Wow its the best mod for the money
Wow! Wow! Wow! I just installed the speed booster and it really is the best $300.00 that I have ever spent. Off the line you could really feel the power like 33% better than the way it was from the factory. It feels like my wifes SRT-8 jeep from the take off. Also, when your cruising at 30 mph and you tap the gas it just moves so much easier quicker and better. It is a must have for everyone.

i dont think i've ever heard anyone complain about sprintbooster. had mine for about 7 months now, it does make the car feel much more responsive. when i have friends drive the car, their all in shock and say "god damn freakin car is fast"

i finally installed mine a few days ago and i love it!
ive always felt that the car was a bit laggy and this thing really fixes that problem.
now has anyone tried the non-amg one on their amg cars?
im curious as to how much more responsive it will be. maybe ill pick one up and try it out. i purchased mine through parts exporter in HK and ill be there next week to pick one up an AMG version for my friend.

Er, why not just stomp on the pedal?
Besides, i haven't seen anyone use it on the track. SLK55R had installed one on his and removed it @ the track. Same goes with Juicee.

Interesting....
I'd be interested in knowing why they removed the sprint booster at the track. Could be due to the fact that the wheels spin too much, because of the throttle lag issue being resolved? Either way I'd love to try this thing out count me in for a group buy.

Sprint Booster is fun for street driving, but at the track, it'll throw your time off a little. It'll make you want to baby the launch to avoid losing traction, but babying it too much you lose time and not babying it enough you lose traction again. So as a result, it becomes very difficult to master a good launch. Many people use it, but remove it when racing on a track, then put it back for everyday driving

Update my fastest time was with the Sprintbooster.
I removed to try and launch better but without good track prep it doesn't matter. I then put it back in and feel that with good track prep I won't need to baby the launch.
The primary reason for me to use sprintbooster is that it makes the "learning" tranny always be in aggressive mode. Personally I hate the "learning" part of these transmissions.
