I have been doing a little experimenting, but unfortunately not on a timer, on the best way to get a start. I have read on the board that you should not floor the car immediately from a dead stop start. Is this because of the concern of spinning? Doesn't this cause the car to come out of the hole extemely slow? I have been tinkering with reving to about 1700 RPM's, while riding the break and then releasing the brake and flooring simultaneously. I have been coming out of the whole with a slight chirp from the tires and then its off like a bolt. Doesn't seem to be lagging...
By the way, I ran my car pretty strong last night and went out today and it was shifting in all gears between 7100 and 7300. I hope this continues.
Anxious to hear your opinions on starting.
