2010 RRS ; BMW K1200R; 14 E350 ; 14 RRS on order
Costco sells one with the picture of the CLS on it which I find hilarious. I wonder if it fits the car.

Car Covers

Becareful of car covers, cheap ones (and even some expensive ones) can cause swirl marks all over your car

I am anti car covers now after repeated bad experiences.

how can it be? If you keep the car inside there is no wind so the cover wouldnn't move

Putting the cover on and taking it off repeatedly can cause you to scratch the clear coat (aka swirl marks). I would just apply a thick layer of good wax or sealant once a week to prevent dirt and dust from setteling between the molecules of the paint.

autoanything. com has good car covers, they run like 250-300 i think, but they are "water proof", or as water proof as they come. it probally is true that you can scratch your clear coat, but i dont have a garage, so its that OR have bird crap on my car that will eat away at my paint.

Just make sure the Dealer has the right one. The CLS55 and the CLS63 are not the same. There is one change between the two. Anyone know

I personally would not buy covers after running into something similar with my 350z that MB_forever talked about (scratches)...

But here are some ebay links... 80 to 100 $ shipped...
