MbenzNL spotted in the Bay Area?

MbenzNL spotted in the Bay Area?
I was driving on 880 South in Fremont last saturday around 7pm saw an E-class with a euro plate that said MbenzNL on it. I flew by him slowed down when I realized it was him, and he flew past me in the far right lane 
and took automall. MbenzNL are you currently in the bay or have you always been in the bay area I was trying to get a couple of things done.

So it was just a random person with an MbenzNL euro plate? Odd, not really a major concern or anything I was just wondering. Thanks for the info.
