wind was a biatch!!! Some of the closest races in the history of this Mbworld!!Man rarfinancial was not messing around. Here is a quick summary

Heads up Rick definately got me more than once the cars were ridiculously close for being modded so differently. 12.30's all day at 113, and glued together at the doors. Trap speed was down likely due to a severe head wind.

BlueMonster on stock tires began at 12.4 and by the end was at 11.8 great improvement for his 1st time.

Shawns stage 2 55 looks forever stcuk at 11.7!! super driving Shawn

Greg ran a personal best 12.6 and was a happy!!

I guess the most amazing run was the stock E63 turning a 12.35!! This in a 1400 plus DA into a head wind...Oldgixxer may be in trouble Sunday. The wind was ridiculous...Seems everytime we go to Fontana it is a battle with nature then with the cars.(fire)(rain)(wind).Whats next?

M5 as my guest ran a constant 12.9-13.2 @110-112. 100% stock 1st time on a track. M5 is simply more difficult to drive well IMHO, the lack of LC and torque hurt.

Hopefully some vids will appear , I had a great time and once again we have raised the bar. A CL 65 was also here , I guess not from this board, car trapped 115-117 and was doing 12.4-12.7 looked like stock tires.


Rarfinancial was tyruly impressive, his car is brutal and looks incredible, he tweeked something and had to quit early preserving my record run to stand another day. Should I be happy his car broke? LOL..nah. This will be a battle that will continue and hopefully we can improve each and every time we run.

Good times were had at California Speedway today. Thanks to everyone for helping me out on my first time at the 1/4 mile. I guess I came a little unprepared. I had street tires, which hurt my launch tremendously. I could not get the son of a ***** to hook at all. Finally, on my last run of the day, the car hooked and I got the 11.8@117
My best trap of the day was 119.93 MPH, which happened on my very first run. Thanks again to everybody that was there and nice meeting you guys.

WOW! What a day. The Juicee & Rarfinancial Thing worth every penny. The heads up races were the closest I have ever seen on a track day. I lanched , looked to my left , looked to my right and there we were, face to face all day long. The guys that saw the slips were just amazed at how close these cars are. You could not tell who won the race without seeing the time slips There is footage and time slips but the bottom line is, THIS WAS A GREAT MATCH UP.. Thanks juicee for the great day. Thanks to Mr Berman for your hospitality, a trunk full of food and drinks for all it was great to see you again. And a HUGE to all you guys that showed

It was definately a great day. The battle of the CLS's started from minute 1 and lasted all day long. And throughout the whole day, one round would go to rarfinancial and the other would go to the Juicee man. They kept stealing the championship from each other until Juicee secured it with a 12.30 @ 113.6 . I feel a 12.2 and 12.1 coming soon Josh

I still can't believe that my car was able to bust a 12.35 fairly easily It seems like it's getting stronger and stronger everytime I run it

Shawn's car pulled an 11.701 @ 118.7 (almost pulled an 11.6x ) but just couldn't break it today. Shawn, you're the man.....

The 335's were doing really good as well. Their fastest runs included two 12.0x @ 115+

There was a stock white CL65 there, but didn't seem to do any better than 12.3

The M5 definately looked good out there. Although the numbers didn't really show its full potential, the car was improving every run. It went from 14.1 seconds @ 108 mph to 12.9 @ 112

sickvette's C6 ran pretty good times as well. I think he's fastest was a 13.00 @ 108 mph (you are so close to breaking 12's........ don't worry, it's gonna happen next time no matter what ).

After that 3hr drive home in bumper to bumper, I didn't even look at the vids. We had some problems getting even one race on vid. There is one that show a full race nice and clear but I won't post that one just yet. It should be a slow day for car sales at work Sunday , so I will put together a few nice clips of the day. I broke almost all my personal records

1/8= 8.01
1/8= 90.55 mph
1/4= 12.34
1/4= 113.97 not my best but for the day.

All but my first 3 runs out of 10 were in the 113.xx trap times
and 4 were in the 12.3 range
Had the wind not have been so strong I am sure we would have seen
12.1's or 12.2's... I will say again "WHAT A MATHCH UP" all the hype of this event and the, oh so excellecnt broadcasting, lived up to every minute of what we hoped for .. I have never looked at a man's face looking back at me so many times as I did seeing MR. JUICEE 63 trough his side window.. He kind of started looking sexy..LOL. Hey what about the correction times for me bro?

Man, what a great day and great event. Seeing the two CLSs going at it all day was just priceless. Notice that RennTech took the first 2 rounds, but then EvoTech came back for the kill. However, RennTech still holds the record for heads-up races. But then again, EvoTech sets the new record and holds on to it for the rest of the day .
