Those are now known as "electric exhaust cutouts." Back in the day, they were known as "dumps." DMH performance sells a quality electric exhaust cutout that can be installed on most exhaust systems.

I am planning on ordering this now, pricing is very reasonable, anyone know if this actually works well or not? OP can you comment on the electric value?

The non-electric or economical cutout is still available. The difference between the two is merely convenience in that the electric can be opened and closed on the fly where as the old school will need to be opened and closed manually, which entails crawling under the car.
