Removing black strip

Hey Guys Anyone know how to remove the Black strip on the rear bumper? I looked back there and couldnt figure out how it is held on.I didnt want to ruin it by pulling it.

It is put on with double sided tape. Just pull from one side. I would get a heat gun to soften things up then it should come right off. Good Luck.

Pulled mine off too Paul, it looks much better with it off.

I headed it up with a heat gun to loosen the adhesive, then it easily pulled off. Hope that helps

wow. i love the clean look.... i think i am going to try that as soon as the rain stop here !!! hopefully it will turn out as clean.... any special instruction or advise on the removal process??

None, just rip it off, then use some goo gone to remove the adhesive leftover.

You guys are great! I took mine off. It was only double sided tape holding it on.
The only thing you should know is that you probably wont be able to put it back on. Mine cracked in a few spots.
Anyone out there make one in carbon fiber? I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Yeah the mesh would look best, better tha CF, my car is black so the diffuser should be distinguished. Theat CF looks greaton the white car! But I dunno about a black one..WE NEED MESH!! Maybe I buty the front piece and machine it to fit the rear?

IMHO, anything is betterthan that Black strip. The CF on a white or non-black car would look SIK..
