CLS55 Vs S55
Stock, which one is fasterr? CLS55, or S55?

CLS55 2006, CLS 63S 2015
all 55k have 493hp (500), its just marketing from mb so that the more expensive S,SL,CL dont lose face to their cheaper models E, CLS etc.

I had a '02 and '05 S55, and now have a cls55.
'02 is no comparison since it's naturally aspirated so we can throw that out the window.
comparing the '05 S55 to my current cls55...
definitely the cls55
acceleration and initial take off in the cls55 is much more powerful.
now sure what the weight difference is but the S55 definitely feels heavier and more sluggish.
The s55 has more leg room in the rear, but the cls has a larger trunk space which is quite nice for my baby's stroller.

If the question is so stupid, why bother answering, that just shows how smart you are!! and as for same horsepower, I don't know how 493hp, is the same as 469hp, I guess there is only one way to settle this, bring the cls on!!! No dis to you Juicee!!! I know your **** is fast. Congrates.

I would agree that a cls55 would beat an s55 however, i dont think it would be by much. I have owned an s55, e55, e63, and an sl55 no cls's. They all seem to be pretty similiar in power output.
Now to the poster regarding the prices of s55's, obviously the prices have come down the new body style is out. You can buy sl55's for around 50ish. Does that mean they're out of style...i think not.
No need to rip on the guy that started the orginial post, its a valid question and has turned into an enteraining thread. Now lets show some respect for the other amg's (especially the ones that have the SAME exact engine)

Try uploading it to YouTube.com or Photobucket.com (you'll need to sign up for a free account if you don't already have one). If it accepts it, then just post the link to the video here and we'll all be able to see it. If those sites do not accept that specific format, then you'll need to convert the videos into a more popular format, such as, .avi, .mpeg, .wmv, etc..... and try uploading them again. To convert the videos, you'll need a video conversion program. I've heard a really good one is ConvertX

Well buddy you seriously think that these vids are real, I mean whatever floats your boat, but it sure as hell looks kind of fake to me. what was the second vid for showing us the back of both cars, after saying he didn't wanna race beyond 99mph, don't you think he'll be behind.
