I wouldn't knock something I haven't tried. Harbor Motorsports has one of the BEST customer service in the MOD biz. They'll go outta their way to make things right for you. But don't take my word for it...

I'm sure the shop is cool, but who would want to be treated the way that guy treats people on this forum, I'm sure most will agree....

another one. if he DOES work there, someone should forward this thread to the owner and show him why I personally would never buy anything from a store that employs guys like this.

First off if you feel like forwarding anything to anyone forward it to me because ITS MY SHOP, second (KINGOFRIDES) had no business saying everything he said, other than that i've been in the wheel business for 10 years and never had a benz customer complain.
Sorry to everyone for all the hurt feelings, and sorry for trying to help,

WOW. King of Rides just got Owned pretty hard.
For the record, and this goes for you too Jordan (for future reference, or next time you buy tires)

The correct sizes for the CLS is as follows
20X9 front with 255/ 30 / 20 and 20 x 11 in the rear with 305/25/20 tires. The 245/30/20 is too small for that car and especially a 9" wheel.

Im not trying to join the argument, but if you can fit 22"s on the CLS, why cant you fit a 255-35-20?

255-35-20 = 27" overall diameter
245-35-22 = 27.8" overall diameter
255-30-22 = 28" overall diameter

Is it a matter of wheel offset thats making the 255-35-20 not work? This silver on has 22"s. and also another member on this forum had a Maroon or Red CLS with 22" Giovanna Dalar rims on it.

I'm claiming that if he can treat people the way he does on these forums (READ above), why would you even consider taking your car to a shop owned by him? I know that I wouldn't and I'm sure many others like myself who care about service wouldn't either. There are plenty of other shops that employ mature people that I would trust my car with, definitely not this shop. If your customers like it, then cool.. your the man right?

Not to mention, the work is pretty stupid! I don't have the necessary courage to even imagine how my car would turn out.

Oh Great, another internet tough guy Your real cool behind that keyboard buddy

Im glad you did your research on the shop. MTV asked us to make a cartoon car, thats why it looks the way it does. Oh, and we won the competition, because our car looked more like a cartoon than the other teams car. Thanks for the free publicity, now go back into your little corner and keep your mouth shut

not stock.
both 360 Forged and HMS are awesome shops, never been to HMS (im out in miami) but from all the stuff I see of them online, I only dare to say they are an awesome shop with awesome people. 360 Forged is also an awesome new wheel company, barely out and already competing with the big guys in the wheel biz. and never dealt with them, but from seeing their work, cars, and meeting their crew on several meets... i can also say 360 forged is a great company.... now why is there so much hating over the internet? all cuz someone read wrong, or something.... you were both right..

Jordan (cls63) was right in saying 255/35 woudnt work....

and the HMS guys were right in saying that 255/30 WILL work....

Jordan is right in saying that 245/30 or 35 is right for the CLS because IT DOES fit nicely if you like a subtle stretch...etc... still a decently wide tire..
And HMS is right in saying that running a 245 is an E class tire and will decrease handling in the CLS....

so everybody knows a little... why are we all hating at each other??
