How Much Did You Pay?
When you bought your CLS63 or CLS55 (or similar, higher-end M-B model), if you bought new, did you pay full MSRP or was there a discount?
With model year 2008 coming to an end, especially for the CLS63 because of some changes in the 2009 version, my local dealer is reducing a nice CLS63 from the MSRP of $102,155 down to something like $91,950 (don't quote me; I'm not certain of the sale price but it's under $92K and over $91K). I've seen a similar car from CA on eBay for $88,500. This leads me to believe I can negotiate another thousand or two off the price of the local car. What do you guys think? Is this a decent deal?
If you bought your car at another time during the model year, did you get a discount? And, if so, what percentage off did you get? Or, if you don't mind sharing the details, what was your car's MSRP and what price did you ultimately pay?
Finally, if I were to order a 2009, should I be prepared to pay full sticker or should I expect some discount? If so, how much, percentage-wise?
