Help: Anyone with a black CLS
I know this is more of an odd request than anything else. However, if anyone of you is interested in helping my friend and his bride for one day in exchange for reasonable compensation for your time and the cost to operate your vehicle, please let me know.
I am looking for a wedding car for a picky bride who wants nothing but a late model European flashy car in black. The CLS55 comes to mind.
Most of my buddies who drive newer high-end cars went with different colors so now I am stuck. According to rental places there's a minimum of two-day charge for a rental car.
If anyone of you in LA/San Gabriel Valley is kind enough to spare one Saturday sometime in June with your shiny CLS55, please PM me. Most likely you'll still be the driver of the car.
Thanks in advance!
Jon

Sorry guys. I didn't intend to use anyone as a "driver" for this event. I simply thought that car enthusiasts may rather drive their own car than having someone else does it for him.
I know it's probably going to be a long shot anyway. But if you guys could consider this a good deed to simply help out a forum member, I would be more than happy to compensate for your time and generosity.
Thanks again.

That would be fabulous!
Your car's actually on the top of my list but since it's a newer 63, I didn't want to get my hope too high.
If you could be so kind to help, please let me know and I'll do my best to fully compensate you for your inconvenience.
Thank you very much for your help and your generosity!
And guys, please don't take this the wrong way. I've seen my friend's bride in person before. She's actually pretty frugal. My friend only has an ordinary car and she still chose to marry him. I think the only reason why she's being picky is that the wedding's a once of a lifetime event for her and she just wanted to feel special. I can understand that.
