The battery is centered over the rear axel, It takes a bite out of the spare tire well.

Have an 07 SL55 fully optioned including the 030 package. Believe it is the only red/black fully optioned 030 package car imported. Mine still only has 12K miles. 030 package really changes the car from a stock SL55 which is saying something.
