Drivers Footrest?

I have noticed in some pics an aluminum drivers footrest that appears to match the pedals...my 55 has nothing but carpet on that area and it is starting to get pretty funky...I guess I should not wear shoes when I drive?...

So, my question...is there a MBZ drivers footrest available or do I have to go aftermarket?...and if aftermarket, any recommendations or ideas?...don't want to spend a ton of $$'s for something kinda silly...

I called the parts department at the local stealership and they pretty much blew me off and didn't want to research a solution for me...so, here I turn to the forums...thanks in advance...

Mike

The CLS 63 has the footrest to match the pedals. I've tried to order the footrest from two different dealerships with no luck......they couldn't figure out how to find that specific part???

I know Kevin M. has installed an after market, Brabus I think, footrest he purchased from ebay. Search the forum and you'll find some pix.

I still want one so if you find any leads please post.

thanks.
