One time I was sitting in the car. The other time I was walking towards my car. You're talking about someone flipping out.
I totally FLIPPED. The guy must've been twice my size. I didn't give a S*#t. The guy was so fukin scared, I thought he was going to take a dump in his pants.
I couldn't Fukin believe it. People are so freakin disrespectful here in the states. This kinda thing hardly ever happens in Germany. Wish I could give you some advice on where to take your car. Mine goes to the stealership whenever I need something done just in case there are issues. Definitely wouldn't take it to Maaco.
This is the reason I don't drive my car anywhere where I would need to park it in a public parking space for long period of time. When I do, it's far enough away that lazy asses don't park next to me because they would have to walk too far.
GL bro.
It is horrible because you are in between a rock and a hard place. I would paint the entire side. Sucks. Vandalism is covered and your car looks too nice to drive around with a big scratch.

Just take it to a body shop, run it insurance if it's a lot of money.

i had some small scratches on my car and had the detailer buff them out. he said as long as he couldnt feel it then he could get rid of them.
might be worth a try though.
I park very far away, I just hate it when you do and some ******* parks right next to you with all the other parking spots available don't you hate that?

I only drive my car to one mall locally because I turn my keys over to a onsite car wash/wax franchise. I drop off, let my wife shop, and it is sitting there nice and clean and away from crowds.
I know your pain because I've had two cars keyed and the hassle of getting it repaired correctly is not insignificant.
Good luck.
Rob...I've had good luck with Gene Perez Auto Body Shop and I believe he has a nephew or son (not sure) Ralph Perez Auto Body Shop that is also go good word of mouth.
I think MB of Tampa sends refer people to Gene Perez if I'm not mistaken.

Drop the grand and get it fixed right. Don't take it to any bodyshop just to save a buck or two. You'll have more headaches later if it's not done right. Get it done at your local mercedes bodyshop. It's a 100k car! IMO

I plan my trips so that I can anticipate the parking situation. Never park in regular or middle parking stalls-only on end stalls so that I can add some space between the only adj car.
I never allow parking attendants in my 55. If you ask, they will let you park it yourself or if that fails just add $20 to the parking fee. You get it anyway you want it.
$20-40 in advance at the valet most always gives you privilages to park right next to the front door of your destination and guarded by the valet. It's worth that piece of mind while you're inside. Beside, when you pick it up, the crowds look at you as a celeb.
Another great tip, is to park in the farthest out of the way parking stall in the lot--guarantee out of sight and out of keyers and dingers (the Costco technique).
