Finally Pulled The Trigger
I was about to order a 2009 CLS63 when I got cold feet. What I've wanted from the moment I first set eyes on it was the Bentley Continental GTC but would never consider spending over $200K for a car so I set my sights lower to spend under $110K for a CLS63 but just as I was about to place the order I got to thinking about depreciation and the true cost of ownership. I came to realize that both the Bently and the Benz will lose about $50K in 3 years of depreciation so the only real difference between the cost of ownership would be in interest on the extra $100K that the Bentley would cost, or about $6K- $7K per year. I can live with that so I did a search and located the exact car of my dreams just up the coast from where I live in Sanibel, FL, drove up there yesterday and traded in my 2006 Corvette for this beauty below. So, this is to say good-bye to all you nice folks who I've met as I struggled with my decision and wishing you all well and to drive safely.

That is absolutely gorgeous
I was eyeing a Bentley when I bought the Benz. A tough decision at the time. A few grand more but no satellite radio at the time. I was concerned about the upkeep costs just having had a Ferrari 360 with ungodly upkeep and needing a new clutch for the F1 ad $8,000.
Now I again have my eyes on a Bentley.
Let me ask you what the routine upkeep is.....
