Reseting service E light

Reseting service E light
I have a 06 cls55 and service light is on, how do I reset the light it says 800 miles past service E. I have tired puting key position 2 and pressing the button on the dash for longer than 3 seconds it clears it but when I restart the car it comes back on. need help thanks.

the newer mbs are all like this. u have to do it thru the steering wheel controls, threres like a hidden menu for serivce and u have to click whuich service was done and then hit service confirmed, i cant remember by explaining exactly, but i know how to do it if the cars in front of me.
