I really have no power issue and if I had I would have considered the Speed Version.

It certainly does not have the punch of the AMG though.

Beautiful car Doc, pray tell what did you do with the CLS? Did you sell it to a private party or as a trade?

The tax savings for a trade in is fairly substantial in North Carolina. Kept the Vellano Wheels and putting them on the SL.

+1.
Btw,test drove the CFS Speed and was shocked how quick that car was.
Would not give much to S65 in acceleration at any speed and would give it all the time, uneven surface, wet or snow ,where the MB is struggling for traction.
All that Benz performance on paper only,or for bragging rights...

off topic

you sound like you are suffering form traction issues. I hear the 65 has non
your options and i advise you to take these because they made a huge difference in my cars performance from low speeds
tires tires tires!
go wider much wider and go higher in the sports brands (PS2, nito invo, or DR tires)

your problems will be less and you will enjoy the car 10x more!
also learn to modulate the throttle rather then slamming it, easier said then done i know but it works with practice, but the key remains on your wheel tire set up.
also 65's have lsd so you can turn traction off and go in a straight line rather then side ways like the 55's do

It's my 3rd V12 TT,so I am familiar with all techniques but thanks anyway for the advice.
You should see however, the conditions of the roads in Chicago and around, worse then some of the worst in the 3rd World countries in many cases.
Add debris, sand etc in addition to horrible potholes and no width or type of tire can help you.
All wheel drive makes a lot of difference and the only reason I am not getting a Bentley for daily driver is the fact that my wife drives one already (boring to have two similar cars).
Sometimes I think that only a Humvee may be suitable for driving in our ugly, corrupted State/City.
I only wish MB would offer an S or CL 4Matic with a proper engine(V12TT preferably) as I personally prefer these cars (as daily) over anything else (including Bentley).

Jaguar STR
For those with power concerns. Chip the Gt and power will never be a problem not that of really is but more is always better in my book. I had the GIAC chip on mine and it completly changed the car. They make massive power with the chip and the boost is only slightly rasied I had mine for a year and a half with no problems before I sold it.
