Check out the droptop CLS...

Looks good. Very good. The shark grille definitely draws more attention to the car, but I would not put it on mine. MB needs to produce this. If anyone would like to get a convertible conversion done to their CLS please let me know. The price is $50,000.00 and turn around time is about 3 weeks. All work will be performed in Southern California. PM me if interested.

Mercedes CLS would drop in sales if MB ever produced this.

A retractable hard top would look nicer because it would somewhat preserve the body lines of the car, but I still believe a soft top convertible is attractive in itself on the cls. And yes the conversion can be done for about 50,000.

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
it's NOT supposed to be a convertible or even LOOK like one--
the cloth top is just for looks, they put em on older cadillacs and such in the 80s, landau roof.......
Not trying to fool people into thinking its a convertible, they just thought the style looked good at that time??
