Speaker change.. please help

My Front "dash" speaker is cracking, and also my rear subwoofer is also making cracking noise. perhaps i blew it. do anyone know what size replacment i need to purchase or will my warranty cover the speaker issues? also how can I get access to the front dask speaker?

I have compare my radio with my other Mercedes benz, and i realized that my audio will not go very loud, and compare with the new E class, my audio sounds very quite. why is that?

Please advise.

Like you said the speakers are not loud enough, so it's very unlikely that you blew them. When you look at the rear deck where the subwoofer is, the vibration probably caused that cracking noise because the deck is not one piece. Try playing something with deep bass and hold down the deck to see if it's better. If it is then use something to put on top of the deck separation. Hope that helps.

Yeah is very strange, but When I crank the sound on my wife E-class, is much louder, both dont have bose.. just the regular system.
and the front making cracking noise all the time, but is hard to get to? do i need to remove the entire dash to get to the front speaker?

I went and got a custom system install in my trunk, 1 JL w-3, custom box, the only thing i need to do now is remove the rear stock subwoofer so it create a port.

Since you installed a new sub with amp, may be you can use the stock amp to power the front and they will sound louder? I miss my MB Quarts and 12" sub in my old car
