New owner, need help please!
Firstly great site here. I have just purchased an 06 cls55. Loving the car, but have a problem and have no clue what it is, thought some of you here might know.
I was driving tonight and stopped hard at which point. my ESP, ABS, light up, as well as saying run flat indicator unavailbale, and active headlights unavailable. The worst part is as soon as this happened the power steering nearly died, wheel is real stiff, seems like ps is barely working. Will be calling dealer first thing in the morning. Thanks in adavance for any help.

From what i was told we have 2 batteries in the car, one to power all the controls, seats, dash, etc.. and one for the car.
I kinda fell into this info by charging the car for the winter thru the cigarette lighter. (the car wouldnt start but all the instruments worked).
Also when you start your does it complain some features are not available? definate indicator that the smaller battery needs to be replaced or charged..

I do know that if the car is still under factory warranty then MB roadside assist will come out for free and replace the battery at your home. If that sill doesn't work then it will have to go to the dealer.
