06 CLS55 AMG & 08 CL65 Mystic White
Question Flames out the Quads!
A fellow 55 Driver was behind me when I floored it and he said I had flames out the back???? Good, not good or normal

Post this on the E55 board and see if anyone else knows why, I don't.

Sounds like somebody has a lot of unburned hydrocarbons running through their exhaust!

You may be running pig-rich (low AFR) and your cats may have something up. Probably not so good.

It's not surprising! A supercharger requires a very rich mixture of fuel. My CLS 55 AMG's quads have a small layer of caked on carbon on the inside of the tips. Quite a bit different than my Acura TLS that is naturally aspirated.
