Hello, please allow me to aquaint myself, i am looking to buy a cls as it's always been my favorite car, ive been saving up and now i have around 45k (around 2k for shipping and docs)

Having said that, I am going to travel overseas, perhap to texas or florida to look for a cls and will be shipping it back since the prices in the states is much better than here (saving up to 15k!)

Can someone please help me out on good deals, perhaps a friend selling theirs? I am going on this journey around march this year.

Also, what is your opinion on getting a 2006 CLS 55 or a 2008 CLS 500, they seem to be around the same price range....

I would say get the cls55 no matter what. you won't regret it!

as for buying the car, i don't live in the US so can't help you out. the cls55 cost me USD 193,000 when I bought it new here in Korea so i understand your sentiment about car prices being so cheap in the US. i think its less than half in the states.

thanks there, i do know the prices are very high in asia, i just came back on a work related visit from hongkong and i was shocked. Im sure you are happy with what you get regardless of the price...its a cls!

hello, i think you misunderstood, i am not looking for a method of shipment or assistance in shipping, but assistance in finding a CLS (already shipped my sc vr6 overseas)

...anyhow..i was only informing "auclutch" that prices in asia are expensive
