07 CLS's a good buy?
Are there any difference between the 07 CLS63 and the 08? They seem to be pretty well priced. You can pick up a low mileage 07 for like 60k right now.
How are they with high miles? In 3 years I would put about 75k miles on it, and would then want to sell it with nearly 100k miles on it. Any proven 63 AMG's with miles like that reliability wise?
What about warranty wise?
So mainly, is there a better year to look into between 07 and 08?
Thanks!

I have an 07 with about 16K on it. I'm not sure that its wise to buy an 08 when you get a killer deal on an 07. I'm not sure if there is a change in the two years if so i can't tell. ;-) Now the 08 Radio has a Memory slot I believe but for about $500.00 to $800.00 you can buy a Killer aftermarket nav used. DVD based Nav , its not great but you really forget pauying attention to nav with over500 hp.
The 08 has different tail lights, and a carbon fiber option interior, some colors differences. Same carreally , I have 30k miles and UI would think the car easilytops 100k with no probs. I would get an 2007 , save yer money.

I see. Can the nav system be upgraded/updated with new software? The main reason I ask is because since this will be my daily car, I use my current nav alot to get me around the city and it comes in handy.
As far as the trim, thats not a big deal, I'm sure there are plenty of aftermarket companies to replace the stock wood with CF if thats the route I wanted to take...correct?

I believe the tail lights are full LED on the 08 and up!

You can get lo mileage 07 CLS63'S in the mid to hi 50's. Wait 6-8 months and you will be hi 40's. Might be the best value on the road for price and performance.

I definitely agree. I am tossing around the idea of either an 07 S550, or an 07 CLS63. The main reason i'm considering the s550 is because of my drive being sooooo long and me putting so many miles on it, so comfort is important. It is 46 miles each way to work. At times I can get there in an hour, but other times if I hit the lovely NY traffic, it can take me 2.5 hours.
