Rear Subwoofer suggestion???

Anyone here have remove their old CLS subwoofer and want to sell? I didnt want to go through the dealer due to their high cost. any advise?

Have anyone ever replace their current sub with a aftermarket sub and install on the rear panel?

I currently have a custom build subwoofer box in my trunk, and lost most of my space, cant fit anything back there, so i want to go back to the OEM style sub on panel... any audio guy out there have any suggestion??

I have the JL set up right now in my rear trunk, and honestly, i am starting to regret upgrading my system. lost of trunk space, barley able to fit golf clubs or anything else. thats why i am looking to mount something on the rear dash so it doesnt take any more trunk spaces.

JL needs too much space. as much as i'd like to sell you a sub that I'm not going to use, i'd recommend finding a sub/enclosure that needs a really small box. there are some wedge-shaped boxes that could fit next to the rear sets in the trunk and take up very little room.

Have you done a Bazooka installation ? I'm contemplating it... I used to have an infinity basslink in my 350z, which improved bass +199% , but I'm weary of benz electronics...

Please don't do a bazooka. An image dynamics IDQ or IDMAX 10" can fit into a small sealed wedge box (.75ftand sound infinitely better. Especially since you have all the wiring already done.

worst-case scenario you can set up a cheap infinite baffle.....I'm not sure if the JL 'flat' subwoofer will fit in the stock location.
