PLEASE HELP WHITE SMOKE
Hey guys I never really joined the forums but was always a fan. I always came here with questions an always found the answer but now I can really use some help. I have a 2006 CLS55 48xxx on the clock. Everything seems to be failing right now, first a small oil leak due to a loose seal then the easy entry on the drivers door then a headlight and now last night a friend of mine decides to buy the new M3 so we were going back and forth a little bit and when I decided to show him up I got in front of him downshifted and took off, he called me right away and said he heard me downshift and when I did a huge cloud of white smoke came from my exhaust. Does anyone have an idea as to what this can be at idle there's no smoke coming from the exhaust and temp seems fine I just cant stand bringing this car to my dealer for the past month I've been there twice a week with this non sense!! Please help!!

Was your car cold? have you checked your oil level?

Brought it to my dealer they did a few tests... I drive back and forth to work with this car most of it is in moderate to heavy traffic so I pretty much just put put my way to the office and back. Anyone who lives in NYC and has to travel on the Gowanas and BQE and the S.I expressway knows what I am talking about. When I get home if I go anywhere its in the other car, as of recently I havent opened the car up and when racing my buddy there must have been oil and fuel built up in the motor heads opening the car burnt this off and the problem has since gone away. I believe they ran a test to check the compression which came back normal and after a few WOT runs found not a speck of smoke coming out. No leaks no problems. Car just needed to be driven a little LOL.
