Trunk stuck shut
I have a 2003 cl55. The trunk no longer will open by either using the unlock button in the car or by using the button on the key. I have to manually get the key out to unlock the trunk. Any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

It's an electric circuit to an electric motor release, so go through the fuse box first and the most simple / common solution.
Verifying that the circuit works is not an easy job. Checking to see if the motor for the release is blown can also be difficult to check yourself, unless you have some background in electronics.
In order words, if it's not fuse problem, you're probably not gonna be able to do it yourself and will likely need to take it into a dealer.
Sorry, hopefully someone else has something more concrete to offer.

I have the same problem but hear air hissing, after I push the trunk open button.
