Speaker placement question
Last year I upgraded the sound system and replaced the stock door speakers with alpine type R 6.5" components. Running an alpine pxe-h650 sound processor and alpine pdx 4x100watt amp. Also have 2 JL 12w3's in the trunk.
So last weekend I decided to remove the stock sub to let more bass into the car(this really helped alot!) and realized there is alot of space in the rear deck. Was wondering if I should get 2 6x9's put into the rear deck to add more sound.
Has anyone added speakers on the rear deck and does it throw off the sound at all. I don't want to drown out the doors or have it sound unbalanced. I know I can tune down the rear deck speakers, but then am I not really adding much more sound?
