08 CLS 55 Easy exit seat
Is there any way to have the easy exit seat function restored ? Is there a module swap or program that can be installed to add it ?
Any help /Ideas?

Easy exit
It has never worked,but I am told that the function was disabled to prevent seat motor failure, You can access it in the cluster,but it only moves the steering wheel up,I had read that the European command program still has it,they also did away with the mirror/reverse tilt function,but the program can be added at the dealer.I find it hard to believe this cant be put back in if it was on my older car and worked fine.Any thoughts?

You could be right about it being a Euro thing. My 2004 CLK is specced for the Euro market and both the 'easy entry' and the 'passenger mirror reverse/tilt' features are both provided.
I have read elsewhere that current US models had lost the mirror feature. Just marketting I guess, but surely the wiring is still there. So it might be possible for it to be programmed back in. Have a word with your nearest M-B dealership.
By the way, we do not get the Panic Alarm, and the perpetual Roadside Assist in Europe....

Thanks moondust for the responses,I might need to go to a larger dealer,this one seems a little limited ,my buddys 2007 has it surely they can program back it in.

I've been waiting for so long to take my car to the dealer and I finally did it today to get an oil change and got my reverse tilt mirror activated. At first they told me it doesn't have the reverse mirror tilt and I told them that I had a few friends that had the same year CLS that I had which is an 08 and their dealers was able to activate and made it worked for them. I even told them that the manual even stated that and I did my research online as well. Once they know what you are talking about they will back off and do it for you for free. Some dumb dealers/service advisors might not even know. So good luck.
