I am the one who raced it.. I have a pretty healthy 335i.. My fuel pump just got changed a few months back and i never run race gas so my spark plugs are in good shape. My car runs strong.
Actually my car runs faster the higher speeds we get into. My 3rd and 4 th gear are pretty damn fast!

My friend has a 09 CLS63 with 20's and we ran it up against a JB3 335i sedan, auto, a few weeks ago. The 335 had intakes, JB3, and straight exhaust from the cats. 1 passanger in the 63, and just the driver in the 335... the bmw instantly jumped on the 63 which started a little late, and put like 2 cars on it up until about 60-70 and the 63 started passsing it, by like 130 the 63 had a bus length on the bmw.
Video will be up soon.
Video will be up soon.
I find that hard to believe unless the 335i isnt running right, or the CLS63 is alot faster than the CLS55.
I thought CLS55 and E55 are faster than there 63 AMG brothers?

If the 335i put a car length on a M5, then your cls63 must be on NOs or someting rofl. Look forward to the video and maybe more info on this 335i to see if its running right? street race is a street race, mostly all fun, anything can happen

Ho ho! Why haven't I seen this thread yet.....
We got all these TOUGH speed racers cruising around in the twin-turbo coupes with JB3 1.3326571906571095710957108237836 modules and mapping and race gas maps and no exhaust and super turbos WHAT EVER!
Guy let me know when you're ready to get a BEAT DOWN from a 4800lbs twin-turbo luxury sedan.
I'm in Long Island.

THanks for the video, like i said before, still dont think that 335i is running well. Maybe more info on what verison JB3, what map? but a race is a race. Good work.
I am surprised he beat the M5 more than he did the M3.

These are supposed to be some JB3 dyno charts. #4 is impressive ... the rest all seem to fall about the same. hmmm.

Impressive and pretty consistent. (Except for #4)
But I'm still not seeing anything that bests a good driver in a CLS. And the mighty torque is as I thought ... no where near that of the Tq/Weight ratio of the CLS55. (Except #4
)
Take a CLS and play with it even a little without making it a motor melter and we have ... well, I think there's no doubt it's not even close.

On top of that we didnt race the CLS in M mode, which feels a whole lot different, especially off the jump.

Norm for a JB3 only 335i can range from about 340-380WHP on a dnyojet depending on different factors.
My cousins E55 on a dynojet made about 411WHP if i remember right just last week. Im guessing cls55's make just as much power.

I would like to see both just JB3 tune vs cls63 and blackedout335i's more modified 335i vs the same car. I also want to see the CLS63 vs E55 because I heard someone saying the CLS63 will beat my E55
. Stock vs Stock I believe my e55 will win but thats why we RACE !!!! To see which car is faster.....![devil](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/devil.gif)

According to the 335i driver in that video i talked to.
He is running a JB3 with intake, and no mufflers and no resonator, but all his cats in place. Either its running a lil slower, plugs/fuel pump might be weak, or that CLS63 is DAMN! fast.
It started pulling like a train past thew 335i at 100mph, since end of 3rd gear in 335i is 100mph, almost like the 335i hit a wall.
I am pretty sure the E55amg is faster than the 63 engines.

DAMMMMMM that was a walk away...
CLS 63 FTMFW. hahaha
ok this is the way it goes down on a track as well except the BMW usually wins in the 1/4 mile , im fairly certain my CLS 63 would have caught and passed the JB3 modded 335's if the race continued. And yed he passed right where I felt my car was pulling on Terry who ran 11.89 to my 12.10. Around 100 mph I closed the gap, had the dam race continued i would have passed him at around 115,
Great Video!

Assumptions just make people look stupid. I am not a AMG guy, I have built and owned pretty much every forced inducted performance car there is. If i really wanted to race some silly little 335 rolling comedy show. I would put together another Supra or EVO and blow his doors off like i have done in the past. The absolute furthest thing from my mind when driving my CLS is racing some anomous child on public roads in his little silly 335.

Your maturity level just went up in my book with this post; (can you smell the sarcasm) especially with your outstanding spelling ability, writing ability and grammar.
