Good Deal Gone Bad?
Here the problem, had them take it to the local MB dealer in FL. (I am in PA), Car passed the pre-purchase inspection with no problems EXCEPT, 3 BENT RIMS!!!! They have some 20" Lowenhart wheels on the car. I wasn't gonna keep those rims anyway but needed to drive them for awhile til I saved up for some Vossen's or HRE's. Its a private party purchase, what should I do. I had planned on flying down and taking the long road trip back.
I don't think bent rims should be a deal breaker if the car has everything else you are looking for.
Why not ask the guy to get them fixed before you buy the car?

If you feel comfortable with the Seller (no racing, no accidents, no smoking and lots of TLC) it's a lot better than getting something that has no history from the auctions
Enjoy.

Now I have them next day me all the documents for the sale so I can submit them to my credit union for the loan. They forget to send me copies of the title. So I have them fax me copies and the title is in a "mortgage co. name". The guy says he is the ceo of the mortgage co. Well the credit union needs him to send a "articles of corp." which gives him the ability to sell the car. which he is having trouble producing because the co. has gone out of business. what do you guys think.

You have seen the title, which is a good thing though. Hopefully, this is just a minor snag which can be fixed shortly.
Damn good deal, but as Full Throttle mentioned there are others out there if this doesn't come through. Hope it does.
