Supercharger life span?

Supercharger life span?
Does anyone know the average life span of a supercharger on a CLS55 i am on the market for one and i was curious if they would last awhile. Also if its easy to find a stock SC and replace it with that if need be. Does anyone also know if an aftermarket SC would produce as much power as a stock or more than a stock SC? Thanks alot for your help!
