CLS55 AMG
CLS standing

I know a noob question

But here it goes...
Where does the CLS fit into MB alignment of luxury sedan/coupe vehicles? (MB biased, not owner bias)

Would one assume base price or what?

C class
CLK class (now being discontinued and incorporated into the E class for 2010)
CL class
E class
S class

Perhaps I've missed some?
Perhaps out of order?

I know the SL, SLK, SLR, SLS, etc are in another category, as in sports luxury.
I know the CLS is based on the E class (and I suppose it would depend on your loyalty), but is the CLS considered a "higher" value or at the same/lower level?

Or are there any certain "levels"...one could argue that the BS (or AMG) is in a totally different league.
